| Jaipur and Chandigarh freight rates up | |
New Delhi, Sep 19 (PTI) Freight rates for the ten metric tonne load for Jaipur and Chandigarh rose by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on pick up in cargo movements in view of festival season against tight availability of trucks. Elsewhere, other destinations freight rates remained stable on scattered enquiries. Transporters said pick up in cargo movements due to ongoing festival season against tight availability of trucks mainly pushed up Kolkata and Baroda freight rates. Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur and Chandigarh rose by Rs 500 each to Rs 8,500 and Rs 8,000.
