10 more gangland-style deaths in Ciudad Juarez

Ciudad Juarez (Mexico), June 25 (AFP) Mexican authorities today reported 10 apparent drug cartel deaths in the northern border city of Ciudad Juarez, where thousands of troops are deployed in a government crackdown.

In one attack, a group of men armed with assault rifles sprayed two men with bullets inside a house, the state deputy attorney general's office said.

Another man died in hospital in Parral, also in Chihuahua state, after being doused with gasoline and set alight five days earlier, it added in a statement.

Gangland-style killings have left more than 40 dead in the region since Sunday.
