Ghaziabad, Feb 8 (PTI) Three children, who were abducted and forced into begging, were today rescued by police from the house of a rickshaw puller at Kavi Nagar area here.

The children, in the age group of 6-9 years, were abducted by the rickshaw puller -- identified as Vijay -- from neighbouring New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh some months back, police said.

Vijay forced the minors into begging and also used to molest them, they said.

One of the children escaped and informed the police following which the rickshaw puller was arrested and two of the children were handed over to their families, they said.
