Puducherry, Around 80 BJP workers were today arrested here when they staged a demonstration protesting"politicisation" of educational institutions by allowing Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi to hold an interaction with students at the Pondicheery University campus.

The workers, led by local unit president S P K Damodar, were detained near the university, hours before Gandhi's scheduled arrival, police said.
