New Delhi, Sep 19 (PTI) Freight rates for the ten metric tonne load for Jaipur and Chandigarh rose by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on pick up in cargo movements in view of festival season against tight availability of trucks.
Elsewhere, other destinations freight rates remained stable on scattered enquiries. Transporters said pick up in cargo movements due to ongoing festival season against tight availability of trucks mainly pushed up Kolkata and Baroda freight rates. Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur and Chandigarh rose by Rs 500 each to Rs 8,500 and Rs 8,000. Following are today's freight rates for a load of 10 tonnes:.Ahmedabad 13,000 Hyderabad 27,000.Mumbai 21,000 Vijaywada 29,000.Baroda 15,500 Chennai 33,000.Pune 23,000 Bangalore 37,000.Surat 18,000 Mysore 38,000.Kanpur 11,000 Pondicherry 35,000.Kolkata 26,000 Coimbatore 40,000.Ludhiana 9,500 Kochi 42,000.Chandigarh 8,000 Thiruvananthapuram 45,000 Jaipur 8,500 Goa 26,500.Indore 13,000 Gwalior 8,500.Patna 18,000 Guwahati 39,000.
