Andhra HC directs Tirupati Devesthanams to give jewellery list

Hyderabad, Aug 27 (PTI) Responding to a public interest petition alleging the Tirupati Devestanams had failed in protecting the jewellery of Lord Venkateswara, Andhra Pradesh High Court today asked the temple authorities to provide a list of inventory of the jewellery of the deity and the associate temples by October 31.
The court has also asked the temple authorities to provide a list of all immovable properties owned by the Devasthanams by November 30. A Division Bench of the High Court comprising Justice G Raghuram and Justice Ramesh Ranganathan issued these directions to the Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
