DSP BlackRock launches World Energy Fund

Mumbai, July 9 (PTI) DSP BlackRock Investment Managers today launched DSP BlackRock World Energy Fund that would invest in shares of oil and energy companies operating across various geographies.

The scheme is a feeder fund into the BlackRock Global Fund-World Energy Fund, a release said here.

The fund can also invest a maximum of 30 per cent in the BGF-New Energy Fund that invests in shares of new energy companies, engaged in alternative energy and energy technologies, it said.

The new fund offer will commence on July 10 and close on July 31. The product provides global diversification and access to fundamentals of energy prices and growth of equities, it said.

The scheme has regular and institutional plans. Under the regular plan, minimum investment has been fixed at Rs 5,000, while under the institutional plan, it is Rs 5 crore.
