Hollywood beauty Megan Fox has said that she has no plans to"take over" the role of Lara Croft from superstar Angelina Jolie.
The 23-year-old beauty who had earlier said that she was irritated by the constant comparison with the Oscar winning actress, had been tipped to replace Jolie in the action franchise. But Fox does not have any such plans, reported Contactmusic.
"I haven't been offered that. No one has even spoken to me about doing that yet. I think that's a role that Angelina Jolie mastered, and I would never attempt to take that over from her,"the'Transformers' star said.
Producer of the successful franchise, Dan Li, had recently announced that 34-year-old Jolie would not be reprising her role as adventurer Lara Croft for the next installment, adding that film bosses were looking for a younger, fresh-faced actress to take the leading role.
Soon reports surfaced claiming that Fox would be stepping into Jolie's shoes any time soon and it was also reported that Jolie was furious about the decision.
