Ciudad Juarez (Mexico), June 25 (AFP) Mexican authorities today reported 10 apparent drug cartel deaths in the northern border city of Ciudad Juarez, where thousands of troops are deployed in a government crackdown.
In one attack, a group of men armed with assault rifles sprayed two men with bullets inside a house, the state deputy attorney general&aposs office said.
Another man died in hospital in Parral, also in
Chihuahua state, after being doused with gasoline and set alight five days earlier, it added in a statement.
Gangland-style killings have left more than 40 dead in the region since Sunday.
