Aurobindo Pharma receives MCC approval for five more products

Mumbai, June 23 (PTI) Drug firm Aurobindo Pharma today said it has received the approval of South African health regulator Medicines Control Council (MCC) to manufacture and market five more products in the country.

The company has got the approval for Auro-Abacavir tablets in 300mg strength and Auro-Abacavir oral solutions in 20mg/ml strength in the ARV (Aids Medicines) category, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.

It has also got the approval for Auro-Cefotaxime injections in four strengths and Auro-Cefalexin tablets in 250mg and 750mg strengths and Auroprozil tablets in 250 mg and 500 mg strengths, and these approvals are in anti-infective therapeutic area.
