Sharp fall in tin and nickel on weak global advices

Mumbai, June 23 (PTI) Nickel and tin declined sharply on the non-ferrous metal market here today in the absence of industrial demand amid falling trend in London Metal Exchange (LME).

Elsewhere, copper and brass also eased due to lack of industrial support.

Nickel and tin dropped by Rs 10 per kg each to Rs 735 and Rs 835 respectively as against Rs 745 and Rs 845 previously.

Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar moved down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 270 and Rs 298 respectively.

Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper utensils scrap, copper sheets cutting and brass sheets cutting also ended slightly lower by a rupee per kg to Rs 267, Rs 263, Rs 248, Rs 259 and Rs 199 respectively.
