Eight Pakistani fishermen arrested

Vadodara, Aug 3 Eight Pakistani fishermen were arrested for allegedly venturing into Indian water from Keri creek area of Jakhau port in Kutch district today, official sources said.

They were arrested by the border security force during petrolling, the official source said.

Kori creek and sir creek are considered to be good fishing zone and Pakistani fishermen illegally stray into the Indian water for catching the fish.

They will be handed over to the police for carrying out further investigations, the source said.
